Record crowd as our first EPL match vs Manchester City is sold out. 62,500
Every seat has gone looking at the ticket office online. As I understand it the match day capacity is now 62,500.
That is a remarkable achievement for a our amazing club. If correct and we can sustain full houses at the new capacity we will be the UK's second best supported club.
Only Manchester United will exceed our weekly attendances.

But we still need a striker, a left back and a central midfielder.

Dogs etc etc

£80 and £90 to sit in the very back row of the East Stand yet, they all went.

I guess even at those prices you still pay a lot more to watch our major London rivals

Wasn't the cheapest ticket £65 or something?

So 4.5 times that gets you a season ticket. Madness people don't just do that instead for the year.

So, "Come and see the stars of Manchester City" was a great marketing strategy.

A bit slow in coming to fruition, but at least Sullivan got something right.

Exactly what I do for that reason. I live in Leicestershire, and work away quite a lot, but it's better to have a season ticket both in terms of being able to get a ticket whenever I want one and in price. If I can't use it, I sell it on.

You would have thought that the club would have contacted STHs about the Ticket exchange being activated if the game is sold out. Nothing yet.

If sold out it is especially creditable as it is in the middle of the holidays. A few years ago i couldn't even get rid of a Spurs at home ticket on opening day.

Europa Conference League tickets also on sale from 20 adults 5 kids. My band ones are 40/20. Now if that sells out I WILL be impressed!

It's not even nearly sold out

There are hundreds of tickets still available - the club releases these in blocks so, at the moment, the rear few rows in seven blocks are available - once those sell, more will be released

Regardless of that there will be thousands of empty seats on the day, it's early August FFS

First game of the season often doesn't sell out all over the place - people are away still.
